Love my January parka
Excellent. I have had the same down filled coat for 13 years. It was the best! Bought it in Vermont from a ski shop. Kept me incredibly warm all these years. Loved it so much and hated to retire it but alas the filling was leaking out and I ripped the arm. I couldn’t find the coat manufacturer online to see what updated coats they had. Oh well. When I saw the January coat described by someone on IG I knew this was the one I had try! And I am so glad I did. First thing I noticed when I pulled it out of the box was it’s weight. It’s a serious coat but when you put it on it’s slenderizing. No Michelin man look. It is very comfortable and very handsome. I love that it’s not the puffy coat design that is all you see now. I love the fabric. Very happy with my new coat! I just wish we’d get some snow!!
This coat does what it says it will, and keeps you very warm!!
Very comfortable keeps you warm but doesn't overheat you!
Great coat, but fur???
It is a lovely, warm coat. I used it in NYC last weekend when it was cold there. I was pleased that it is made of synthetic material rather than goose down as I don't see the need to pluck geese when we have the miracle of polyester or whatever the heck it is filled with. When I looked at the tag to see the washing directions I was horrified to see that the fur trim was actually raccoon! I just assumed it was fake. It is not even legal to sell fur in CA! I am sure there is just as good looking fake fur out there so why not use that?
